Welcome! We are Dr. Carolyn Blair and Dr. Brian Stewart, the husband-and-wife team of dentists who founded Riverside Dental in downtown Cambridge more than 32 years ago.

Our Patients Become Friends

If you’re tired of chilly corporate courtesy and would like to be treated like a neighbour, Riverside Dental is the place for you. We enjoy fostering real friendships with our patients and have seen some grow from age 3 to age 23! We’ve even had the same employees for 17 years now.

Meet the Staff

Dr. Carolyn Blair and Dr. Brian Stewart

Carolyn and Brian both graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 1992, where their shared passion for oral health, and each other, began. After getting married in 1996, they spent several years practising in Cambridge before founding Riverside Dental together in 1999.

Today, they are proud to call Cambridge home, where they’ve built both a thriving dental practice and a loving family with their three wonderful sons and their fun-loving Doodle, George. Carolyn and Brian are dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate dental care to the families of their community, many of whom they’ve come to know and treat for generations.

Jen Lima

Jen graduated from Fanshawe College with dental assisting in 1994 and started working with Dr. Blair in the summer of 1995. Jen loves to stay active, playing baseball and volleyball on many teams. While here, she enjoys helping patients and ensuring their time in the office is as comfortable as possible; on her time off, she enjoys travelling with Brad and loving up her dog Kirby.

Shireen Stevens

Shireen graduated from Niagara College in Dental Hygiene in 1994. She met Dr. Blair while at school, as she was Shireen’s teacher. Shireen decided to work for Dr. Blair in 1996 and loves educating patients about dental health. Shireen is married to Dennis, and they have 2 boys. They both enjoy snowmobiling in the winter and going up north in the summer to relax at their cottage.
